Japanese Kaiseki

Part of the ryokan experience includes eating local dishes. The Yamazakura restaurant in Hotel Okada serves kaiseki.  Kaiseki is a multi-course traditional Japanese dinner made with seasonal ingredients.

The menu. Started with a drink and included soup, rice, sashimi, wagyu beef, etc.

The portion sizes may seem small, but was filling after having everything.
